Denver With The Kids
There is something for everyone in the family in the city of Denver. There are some really nice places to walk and shop as well as some great theme parks to get some incredible thrills. When visiting a new city it is also fun to enjoy some of the museums to learn about the history of the area. Denver has all of these things.
The 16th Street Mall is the most quaint and interesting mall of the city because it is built right into the historical downtown. Ask the staff at one of the five star hotels denver has about some of the best museums in town. They have the Denver Firefighters Museum , the historical Molly Brown House Museum, the Colorado History Museum and then, of course, a couple of art and science museums.
A day of thrills can be had at the Elitch Gardens. This is the place to go for that summer super fun with lots of roller coaster rides and water rides. The kids of all ages are going to have a great time in every area of the park. The water park side has a fun pirate ship for the kids to climb and slide in and out of. The park also offers up some great live entertainment with a summer concert series.
Miami Supports its Own
In a city as vibrant as this one, it’s sometimes easy to lose things in the mix. Coming to Miami, luxury hotels are as dazzling as they come, and for some, it’s enough to stay here and enjoy the whole vacation inside and at the pool. For others, it’s just a start, because there’s as much life out there as anyone has ever seen. The vibrant city has its share of talented musicians and visual artists, and the rich diversity of the city makes it a very inspiring place for creative minds. It’s difficult for anyone to find their way around in the arts community when there isn’t a big infrastructure.
With this in mind, Miami’s Independent Thinkers began. This is a non-profit that’s devoted toward building coalitions among the artists living in South Florida. They are particularly gravitationally compelling to independent visual artists who are working outside the gallery system . There are more of these than ever before, and some of the most interesting work is happening off the map.
Miami’s It, as they like to call themselves, are very active in the local community, sponsoring a host of events for visual artists and their audiences, and even do a festival of experimental film. If there’s a good reason to leave a gorgeous hotel, this might be it.
Hash House in Las Vegas
The decline of the extremely cheap buffet has been a sore spot for Las Vegas locals and long-time guests for a while now. It’s not that the buffet is gone, but that in recent years it’s been rejuvenated to offer excellent food at reasonable prices. In the past, chowhounds could find half-decent food at extremely low prices, so there’s always something lost and something gained in change. Change in Las Vegas is part of the atmosphere, but so is nostalgia. In a pinch, guests at Las Vegas hotels can find something cheap pretty easily, but expensive food is easier.
For those who have decided that they want to know what it would be like to have a blend of nostalgia and the new, Hash House a Go Go is one of the better choices. It’s not necessarily cheap, but when the diners see that the salad bowls are much larger than their own head, it’s apparent that the money is well spent. The attraction here isn’t just the farm decor, but the dedication to ingredients that speak of contemporary food culture. The portions are also large enough that it is often much better than a buffet, because this is exquisite food that’s served with just the right amount of nostalgia.

Gangster Tourism in Chicago
It’s not necessarily an idea that will spread like wildfire all over the world, but it’s not bad. There are plenty of good reasons to come to Chicago, plain ones that most people can see. There are fantastic restaurants all over the city, and the old neighborhoods feature some of the best ethnic cooking in the world. Entertainment has always been an important part of the local scene, and today it’s just as good as it ever was, with great live music, theatre, dance, and a thriving film scene. For hotel reservations, Chicago is always an excellent choice.
However, it’s remarkable history also has some interesting elements that can lure people here. Fans of gangsters, or those simply fascinated by true crime stories, can come to the city and tour the usual haunts frequented by the usual suspects. There are a number of gangster tours throughout Chicago, where visitors, and locals, can go to all the famous spots. These are locations where famous shootings and other confrontations happened. There are also tours that take people to the birthplaces of some of the most notorious local criminals, and plenty more where that came from.
The cast of character that made up the North Side Gang, and the Chicago outfit, are all featured in the Untouchable Tours ‘ offerings. There are also other moments in history that are explored, like the history of the Black Hand, and the formation of the White Hand to try to quash their control over the city. Then there’s the Latin Kings, the group that started with a social activist agenda that began to degenerate into the more lucrative side of things. It’s a pretty spectacular history, and it’s easy to see why Chicago has so many tours. Many of the most studied gangsters made this their home, and nearly everyone involved in these underworlds set foot in Chicago at one time or another.
New Orleans Culture and Arts
New Orleans is an extremely vibrant and progressive city that is rich in cultural and the arts. It has long enjoyed its association to Mardi Gras and great jazz and blues music, though recent years have placed more of a tragic image on the city. And while there is absolutely no intent to mitigate or deny the amount of damage, destruction, trauma and death that occurred during Hurricane Katrina and to an extent other major storms, it should be stressed that New Orleans has made an amazing recovery and continues to heal and improve the infrastructure and cultural make up of the city.
And while one of the worst natural disasters in this country’s history occurred in New Orleans, it should not define the city and it is time to re-imagine it as the great cultural center that it actually is. San Francisco recovered from and rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1906. And while this occurred over a century ago, early in the city’s recovery it began to heal its image and be seen for the beautiful and amazing city that it is. The same process is beginning with New Orleans. The city is full of incredible cultural attractions and is extremely dynamic and vibrant. There are numerous galleries and museums in the city that represent the art of various genres and periods. The Ogden Museum of Southern Art and the National World War II Museum are just two of the prestigious establishments in the city.
Much of the architecture in and around the city dates from its early development and this adds to the historic atmosphere that is present and gives New Orleans a sense of timelessness. There is something inherent in the culture of this great city that will overcome and surpass the tragedies it encounters. The jazz and blues music venues have always defined a specific temperament to New Orleans and visiting the great jazz clubs are one of the most popular activities for the tourists who are staying in one of the luxury hotels New Orleans . In addition, there are music festivals and other events going on at all times and these also permeate the city’s atmosphere. New Orleans is a great American city, let’s keep that in our minds.

The monument itself was to house copies of Michelangelo’s works, including David and the Medici chapel sculptures from San Lorenzo. Poggi’s design on the hillside, once a museum for Michelangelo’s works is now a restaurant.
The piazza is filled with tourists and vendors; keep in mind that most of the Piazzale Michelangelo is a parking lot, people come here to enjoy the view and not the piazza itself by taking in the rolling hills of Fiesole behind, and the spectacular unobstructed view of the Florentine cityscape below.
